Tide mills are emblematic and ruins of the best and oldest examples of industrial archaeology we have in our country. This, located in Seixal Bay next to the center stage of Benfica, is a location with a strong identity edílico environmental and cultural landscape, whose coastal fronts give shelter to a biodiversity that is increasingly present in the Bay. With a view to safeguarding the existing tide mills in the municipality, the Town Hall of Seixal has supported and promoted its classification while built cultural heritage. This in particular has a project under study to become a single property.
